BERKSHIRE CONSERVATION DISTRICT SPRING 2010 SEEDLING SALE
The Berkshire Conservation District is proud to offer a wide variety
of tree seedlings, ground covers, flowering shrubs, and perennials for
spring planting. Most trees and shrubs are sold dormant, bare root and
hardy.
Plants for beautification, erosion control, wildlife food and
cover, and windbreaks are sold as a fundraising project to support the
district’s other programs; which include conservation assistance,
scholarships, workshops and environmental education. Districts do not
receive any funding from the state or federal government, except for
grants that they must apply for and win.
We do not receive any funding from the state or federal governments. Our spring and fall plant sales are the major fundraising source of the district. This enables us to provide conservation assistance, scholarships, and environmental educational information to the public. Thank you for your support!
